Spa Etiquette and Policies
To ensure a great experience for each of my clients I ask that the following Spa Etiquette be observed:
Please come at your scheduled appointment time. Since I do not have a Receptionist, I allow time during your appointment for a consult. New guests will be asked to complete a Client Confidential Questionnaire & Consent Form at least 24 hrs. prior to your scheduled skincare service via a Link provided in your confirmation email. You may also be asked to update your information on a regular basis.
WHY DO I COLLECT HEALTH INFORMATION?
Health information is collected in order to promote a safe and healthy environment for my clients, to ensure continuity of information from one visit to the next, and to assist in customizing treatments to individual needs, particularly if there are medical issues or allergies which could have contraindications to certain products or services. Your health information can be updated annually or at your convenience. Please let me know if there are any new health concerns or allergies. No service is performed without a detailed consultation.
Late arrival may result in a shortened treatment time, to ensure that the next guest is not delayed. Please appreciate that I cannot adjust pricing for reduced service time due to late arrival. If you are running late, please call me to ensure that your appointment is not canceled and you are not considered a no show. After 15 minutes your appointment will be canceled with applicable charges.
Please turn your cell phones off or set on silent during your time at the studio in consideration of others and enjoy your "me time".
Scheduled treatments are reserved especially for you. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time and clients on my waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services they need. If you miss your appointment without 24hrs notice, an invoice from square will be sent to you. The payment is due upon receipt.
Your time is precious and I value every client, so I ask you to please appreciate and respect my time too.
Sanitation and Sterilization
Sanitation is a priority at Skincare Lounge. I use hospital grade sterilizer and virucides to thoroughly disinfect and clean all of my tools and equipment. If an item cannot be thoroughly sterilized it is thrown away after use. I use nitrite gloves during all services that this need is applicable. Please inform me if you have an allergy.
Children in the Studio
Please contact me if you need to bring a small child. In most situations children are discouraged. This is time for you to enjoy your time.
Method of Payment and Gratuity
I accept cash and credit cards. Prices are subject to applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Treatment times are approximate. My services are priced so that you as a client can afford to continue with your skincare, so therefore additional Gratuities are not included in the service price, but are appreciated and accepted.
Returns / Exchanges
In-Store credit or exchange with receipt within 7 days of purchase. All gift cards are non-refundable, and non-transferable. Sale items are final sale. No refunds on services, packages or memberships. Opened or partially used products cannot be returned.
Gift Certificates are non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash. All gift certificates must be mentioned prior to making your appointment. Additionally, gift certificates must be presented at your appointment. Multiple gift certificates may not be combined towards a single service or product purchase. Gift Certificates can only be used on full priced services. Dollar amount gift certificates do not include taxes or gratuity.
Spa specials can not be used or combined with any other offer.
Packages are good from one year of date of purchase, non-transferable and may only be used by one person. They cannot be substituted toward other services. Packages are non-refundable. No Exceptions.
Clients that sign up for my VIP, please make sure you read over the VIP membership and information and understand all terms and conditions. No refunds can be given on membership months that were purchased in bulk, but you may transfer them or gift them to another client.
